Blocks, What Are These?

We have changed the theme system slightly, it will now operate like a portal site. You will now be able to customise, move, sort, and add blocks in your layout.
These are easy to install and configure. Just simply upload the xxxx_block.php to the blocks folder via FTP and then add it via the admincp pages

login – User Login Block (there is still the top link if requred)
maincats – Shows links to all parent_cats
navigate – Main navigation block, links to pages like forums, rules etc (some links will not work)

How Do Sub-Categories Work?

These work quite simple, when creating or editing a category via the admincp.php you will be asked to input a Parent Category, these are then grouped together and for the “Main”, or “Parent” categories. These must be input EXACTLY the same for each. Please see the examples for more info

Can I Upgrade My Site To V2?

Short answer is yes, but currently there is no guide.
Basicly you should be able to keep all torrents and users in place, those tables do have some minor modifications though.

How Do I Install It?

-Upload all files to your server
-Import the FULLDB.sql file thats found in /DB into your mysql server
-Edit backend/mysql.php and input your details
-Edit backend/config.php and change all details to yours, (sitename, siteurl, announceurl, paths etc)
-CHMOD /cache and /uploads to 777

Admin Login: admin/admin (we suggest you sign up a new user, make it admin class and delete the default via phpmyadmin)

How do I adjust settings etc

Your first port of call would be backend/config.php you can enable/disable many of the sites features and settings from here.
Also the admincp.php offers control over several things.
